That's what a rejection by Dreamstime does for you ! My first shot was the badge on a white embroidered blouse but did not emphasise the tiny broach. It is still unclear whether the new ones will be acceptable. I've done another similar image but mentioning in repetitive text all the clinical and diagnostic techniques used for breast diseases. Hi, I too have received numerous number of such winning notification since last 1 yrs. On the first instance I felt as it is a real one but when I heard my friend also has received the same mail. I understood the thing. Till than I have received at least 100 such mail.

National Council for metal detecting web site has the rules and the magazines Treasure Hunter and The Searcher will have web sites that may help. Our web site www.scottishmetaldetectors.com has some of the best value detectors in the UK plus we offer good second hand machines.

The main rule is only detect with the landowners permission and split any treasure by money value 50 / 50 % with the owner.

National Council for Metal Detecting will have the best information if you google it [ I believe ] The two magazines Treasure Hunter and The Searcher will also have web sites. I also approach farmers for permission and send finds to the National Museum of Scotland. They pay you for interesting items and the funds are 50 50 shared with the farmer. David.

hi david,can you direct me to a website where i can find a detailed account of the legislation about treasure hunting in UK.I have many questions,such as,how you know if the land you intend to treasure hunt is private or government owned.Do you need a liscence for trasure hunting,and so on.Thanks
