This is a picture of the famous steam locomotive Sir Nigel Gresley taken on 26 th August 2008 on the North York Moors Railway at Levisham. This hamlet is at the end of a very hairy drive from the main Pickering to Whitby road. There is a winding track from Levisham through the forest where I got quite lost.
It's funny how nostalgia for the age of steam draws thousands of folk to this wonderful railway. I will post more images of trains at www.lochnessimages.com
